Curly - A Survivor's Story Written by Joan Fraser Yeash, BSN, RN (296 pages) On her 47th birthday, after a very difficult and stressful three months, Joan was performing a self breast exam when she felt a lump in her left breast. Despite a normal mammogram just two months before, she persisted in having a full evaluation. What followed was a journey that would take her through several surgeries, chemotherapy, spiritual reawakening, and culminating in a triumphant completion of The Race For The Cure. A must read for anyone touched by cancer and those who love them. Editor's Review: I read the book, and I must say that "Curly" is an incrdible story of one woman's journey from diagnosis to becoming a survivor. It will touch the heart of anyone who has had cancer or knows of someone who does. As a survivor myself, I can completely relate and heartlly reccommend it!-- ADRIAN
